How long does it take to rank with Google?
If you use these SEO hacks of 2021 appropriately, your page may rank on google after 3-6 months (90-180 days). Most posts don’t rank within a year because the writers don’t use SEO correctly. Hopefully, these simplified steps would help you rank soon!
How to increase Adsense revenue and rank on Google?
Step 1: Find the right keywords. Increase Adsense Revenue
You are probably asking yourself “How can I find the right keywords?”. It is actually easy once you understand it. If you haven’t ever ranked yet, you should follow this research technique.
Find a keyword research tool. There are many. You can use Ubersuggest for free but you have only three free searches a day. Choose a topic to write about and search it on Google. Google usually mentions other related questions searched by people. Write all this down. Then go to ubersuggest and write one of these topics and click search. Ubersuggest will give you a list of relatable keywords. Read carefully now! Choose the keywords that have a high search volume , a low SEO difficulty less then 10 if you are a newbie. The less the competition the higher your chances of ranking. Keep in mind, you are not looking for only one keyword, but many. Now the trick for more adsense revenue CHOOSE A KEYWORD WITH A HIGH CPC
Example
I will give you an example. Let’s write about potty training. I type “how to potty train” in Google Search. Google gives me a list of people also asked questions like “How to start potty training? How to potty train a toddler? How to potty train, my toddler, in three days?” I am going to write these down. I then go to Ubersuggest and search how to potty train. A list of keywords come up. How to potty train has a very high volume and a competition difficulty of 20. Not bad, but I need more than one keyword. So, I scroll down and find when to potty train a child which has a high volume search and an SEO difficulty of 8. Excellent! Keep searching and finding more good relatable keywords. Write them all down.
I wrote the following keywords down because they have low SEO difficulty and a good search volume.
- How To Potty Train?
- When To Potty Train A Child?
- How To Potty Train A Toddler?
- Potty Must-Haves
- How To Potty Train a Two-Year-Old Toddler, a Three-Year-Old Toddler, or a Stubborn Toddler?
Step 2: Find the top 10 searches for your main keyword.
Choose one primary keyword from the keyword list you have done in the previous step. Search it on Google and look at the top 10 results. Find a website that links to a personal blog like yours. You are no different than them and you can overrank them. See how many words they have written about the topic. Look at their headline, and the questions they answered in that post.
Example
Let’s use the example I mentioned before. So, now I am going to type my main keyword” how to potty train” and enter it into Google search. I look at the top 10 websites linked to this keyword and I find a blog similar to mine. The blog is www.munchkins.com I open it up and look at the number of words in the post, the number of images, and what exactly was answered in the post.
Step 3: Write a better quality post.
So, now you have found your competition, you need to rank on google higher than your competition. I am going to write a longer post and answer much more questions about potty training than www.munchkins.com To answer more questions about potty training in your blog post, use the list of keywords you have written down in step 1. Also, add more images.
Example
For example, www.munchkins.com mentions the following topics in her post
- Tips To Potty Train A Toddler
- Potty Must-Haves
I am going to include these topics in my post, but that is not all. I am also going to answer other questions about potty training (the questions in the list of keywords I wrote in Step 1) to make a longer and better quality post. So my post will have the following subheadings:
- How To Potty Train A Two-Year-Old Toddler?
- When To Potty Train A Child?
- How To Potty Train A Three-Year-Old Toddler?
- Tips To Potty Train A Toddler
- How To Potty Train A Stubborn Toddler?
- Potty Must-Haves
- How To Potty Train A Toddler in 72 Hours?
Step 4: Place your keywords in the right places.
Now, where should you place your keywords list? The primary keyword should be found in the title, the first paragraph of the post, the meta description, in the image ALT Text and Titles, and in the URL. Use your other keywords in H2 and H3 headings as subtopics.
Step 5: Create an eye-catching title.
Why will someone choose your post instead of the other posts? Your title needs to grab their attention. I recommend reading this post on how to write a catchy title.
If you’re a mommy blogger, read this post on ideas for blog topics.
Example
Using the same example, for the potty training blog post, I would title it “How To Potty Train A Toddler In 72 Hours”. Notice it includes the primary keyword and makes a huge claim”72 Hours” which will grab people’s attention.
Step 6: Use internal links and external links
Link each post to at least 2-3 other posts on your blog. This will connect your posts together and each link will act as a backlink to another post of yours.
Link an external trustworthy link to your blog post too. This will allow Google to trust your post. Make sure it is not a post that answers more questions than your post.
Step 7: Grow Your Blog
Promote your post! You can use Facebook groups and threads or answer questions using your links on Forums and communities. Guest post for other bloggers and collaborate. This will all increase your domain authority! Google will start trusting your website!
Step 8: Build Backlinks & Increase Adsense Revenue
Guest post for other websites similar to yours. That means write posts for them and like your blog posts in them. The more links your posts have, the better chance you rank and have increased Adsense revenue.
